Botox, Dysport, Letybo, Jeuveau

Botox as well as Dysport, Letybo, and Jeuveau help to  temporarily reduces and removes wrinkles leading to a rejuvenated and youthful appearance. They can be used to treat crow's feet, mouth, furrows, forehead wrinkles, and the 11's (between the eyes). 

In addition to cosmetic procedures, Botox can help with a number of conditions, including:

• -Neck Spasms
• -Overactive Bladder
• -Excessive Sweating 
• -Lazy Eye

There are minor differences between all these products, but important to know. Dysport is a smaller structure than Botox, and more units are required within the injection point. It is priced differently as it requires more units, but generally the cost remains the same within one or the other. Dysport tends to start working quicker than Botox. It takes about 2-3 days for Dysport to take effect, while Botox takes about 7 to 14 days. 

Jeauveau (New Tox)

Jeuveau is a newer toxin similar to Botox commonly injected between the eyebrows or the corners of the eyes. Jeuveau is great for preventing new lines from forming and it is also wonderful at smoothing out old lines or wrinkles which can become deeper over time. 

Jeuveau works by paralyzing or weakning the muscles in the injected area. It can last around 3-12 months as its effectiveness depends on a number of factors including frequency of treatment.

People who have tried Botox and Jeuveau have not seen many differences between the two. The reason for this is because both products are injectables with the same applications. 

Both Botox and Jeuveau have similar side effects.

Uses

Originally, Botox was used for eyelid muscle disorders back in the 1990s. Since then, it has been approved for a wide range of conditions as well as cosmetic procedures such as frown lines, crow's feet, excessive underarm sweating, and migraines.Botox has also been used to relieve neck and shoulder pain. 

Jeuveau injections, while similar to Botox, have only been approved for cosmetic uses. It's currently FDA approved only for treating glabellar lines (frown lines). 

Both Botox and Jeuveau last about three to four months, and results take a couple of days to settle in. 

Dysport

Dysport has become an approved and popular treatment to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. Dysport was released soon after Botox, and was considered to be Botox's European counterpart, being used in over 60 countries around the world. Dysport was approved in 2009 by the FDA for use in the United States. It has proven to be an effective, non-invasive treatment for wrinkles and fine lines. 

Just like Botox, Dysport's active ingredient is Botulinum Type A. The difference is in it's formula. Once Dysport has been injected, it disables the nerves around the injection site, which limits muscle movement and helps smooth out your skin. Botox can be used to treat a wide range of areas, but Dysport is mainly used to treat moderate to severe forehead lines and glabellar lines, also known as frown lines or 11 lines. 

It is important to be aware of the similarities and differences between Botox and Dysport. They both contain the same active ingredient Botulinum Type A, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles; however, Dysport might work better for the Glabellar lines (between the eyebrows). Dysport tends to diffuse more readily beneath the skin once injected, making it a great choice for treating broader areas such as the forehead. Botox stays more localized, ideal when targetting smaller areas or when a more controlled effect is needed. In some cases, providers may use both Dysport and Botox to achieve different results in different areas of the face. 

Dysport is often reported to take effect quicker than Botox. Many patients begin to see improvement within two to three days of receiving  Dysport inejctions. Botox may take five to 10 days. Both Dysport and Botox may last about three to four months. Exact duration of Dysport and Botox may depend on the area treated, your metabolism, muscle activity, and the specific dosage used. With consistent treatment over time, you may notice Dysport or Botox results  may last longer between sessions. 

Most common side effects of Botox and Dysport are generally mild and temporary. The most common Dysport and Botox side effects are slight swelling, redness at the injection site, and bruising. 

Letybo

Letybo is a Botulinum Toxin Type A Neuromodulator that has recently emerged as a promising alternative in the aesthetic world. Letybo is designed to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles and soften expression lines. It is used for areas such as
